Bath and Body Works is seeking a versatile sustainability professional with environmental sustainability experience to join BBW’s Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) team. The ESG Analyst plays a critical role in delivering and supporting our enterprise-wide efforts to meet the company’s ESG aspirations and goals. As a member of the team, the individual will help track and report against BBW’s environmental and sustainable sourcing programs and commitments, as well as coordinate across the organization to improve BBW’s overall sustainability performance. The individual will also provide program management support for projects delivering results towards specific ESG commitments. The position requires both subject-matter expertise and tactical program management, demanding collaboration and coordination through influence and developing internal and external partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, managing, interpreting, and reporting data associated with BBW’s ESG programs and commitments

  • Serve as lead in the development and implementation of a scalable ESG data management system that will serve as a repository for reliable and auditable ESG data for use by multiple cross-functional partners across sustainability management, analysis, and reporting

  • Project lead and assist in administering sustainability related programs in collaboration with ESG climate and sustainable sourcing teams to ensure implementation plans are effectively handled and milestones are achieved

  • Become an internal subject matter authority resource for enterprise sustainability related topics

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related work experience in environmental sustainability with a track record of effectively leading programs in an empowered and changing environment.

  • Strong influencing, collaboration, oral and written communications skills

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills

  • Experience leading and facilitating group process and collaboration

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills required with ability to track, measure and identify improvement solutions, experience with MS Power BI, SQL programming, or MS Access is a plus

  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, moving and leading projects with differing objectives, achievements and results

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results with a strong sense of urgency

    Education

  • B.A. or equivalent experience in relevant field.
