The Logistics Operations Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our Distribution Centers. As a critical member of the SCP&A Capacity Planning team, this position is responsible for planning Distribution Center (DC) productivity, setting labor strategies, and projecting costs. By leading monthly performance reviews and developing precise labor planning tools, the analyst empowers DC teams to make data-driven decisions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
Leverage historical data and trends to lead regular budgeting discussions for DC productivity rates on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis.
Monitor current and forecasted labor demands to provide accurate staffing recommendations
Develop expertise to offer strategic insights to business leaders, identifying risks and opportunities
Publish weekly and monthly reports detailing productivity, staffing levels and expenses
Present monthly performance reports to Finance and Operations teams
Complete monthly accounting processes to ensure accurate tracking of expenses
Maintain a clear understanding of data relationships across files, ensuring accuracy in reporting and planning processes
Support ad hoc requests and financial analyses
Collaborate on team initiatives and projects

Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in logistics operations or operations planning
Analytical with creative approach to problem solving
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Interested candidates must be able to work out of the Columbus Ohio offices.
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a variety of quantitative and nonquantitative disciplines
